Acupuncture and Chinese herbs

Reclaim Yourself:
A Journey through the Diaphragm
If you were raised in a culture shaped by Western medicine, you’re probably accustomed to thinking of your organs as having purely physical functions. In Chinese medicine, body, mind, and spirit are not separate. Every physical structure also has emotional and spiritual functions.

From this perspective, the diaphragm can be understood as the organ of repression. It forms a boundary between what shines in the daylight of the heart and mind and what is pushed into the darkness of the gut.

By understanding repression through the lens of Chinese Medicine, you will see how it can be a source of illness and pain. We will use experiential practices to explore our inner domain and release those constrictions for greater health and ease of being.

As the diaphragm softens, breath deepens, and space opens, many people experience a renewed sense of ease, clarity, and alignment with who they truly are.
